Reporting to Parents

At the beginning of the year Parent Introductory Meetings are held to build a connection between yourself and your child’s teacher. Every year is different and every student has strengths and needs, so it is important that parents and teachers have an opportunity early in the year to meet and discuss the year ahead. Parent/teacher communication is critical to a successful partnership in the education of children.

Reports are sent home at the end of Semester 1and Semester 2. Parents are encouraged to meet with teachers to discuss their child/ren’s reports during the formal interview period. In addition to these formal interviews parents are encouraged to make an appointment to speak with their child’s teacher whenever necessary. This can be arranged by contacting the class teacher.
